Located across from the Newport Beach Pier and just steps from the sand, 21 Oceanfront Restaurant offers the ultimate fine dining experience. Please note the restaurant is in a historical building therefore is not wheelchair accessible. Reservations are greatly recommended. Valet service is offered for $10 cash.

    Food was excellent. It was a treat having abalone. Service was good and I think they were a bit short of staff. The decor and ambience there is just fantastic. Great night overall.

    This place is magnificent from ambiance, to food selections, to wait staff. They check every box you want and expect when dining out. I can't tell you how much myself and my family enjoys 21 Oceanfront. We have made memories here and look forward to making many more. It's the best of the best!

    My husband and I dined here for our anniversary due to a last minute change in plans. The food, service, and atmosphere were beyond what we expected! Five stars all the way!

    Love love this wonderful restaurant/bar! The atmosphere, food and service were exceptional! Can not recommend it more!! A beautiful traditional restaurant! We had the scallops, pork chop and au gratin potatoes! Perfect!!

    A truly wonderful place. Great food, amazing service, especially from Colin and Ricky. They know us by name, know our drink order, and always make us feel welcome. Always great live music on the weekends, in the bar, although that may be during the week as well. It's a great place, worth a trip to the Peninsula.

    Overall good experience ….. very unpleasant interaction while we were waiting for a table. This was a business dinner and one of the hosts was extremely rude to one of my guests. I understand the policy of no standing at the bar, but there is a way to interact with paying customers that is much more aligned with the caliber of the establishment. He could have been much more elegant in his interaction requesting us to take a seat, but instead he began to argue with one of the guests at my business dinner. This behavior is NEVER acceptable… there needs to be a more formal training to interact with guests in a more respectful way. Overall it caused embarrassment for me as the host, that was uncalled for. I never would have expected this in this type of establishment. Once we were sat, the food was tasty and the server very gracious. It is not about the money, but for spending over 100 dollars a person, you expect to be treated with respect and elegance.

    First of all, great service and very good food. For me, a bit on the pricey side given the style of food, but no complaints on the overall experience. Probably the best place to earn at Newport Pier.
