Overall, we had a great experience. We had several different dishes. While they were all decent, some were definitely better than others. For example, the fish tacos could have been accompanied with salsa or some spicy element on the side and the burger could have used a bit more flavor. The crispy rice tuna appetizer was amazing. The scallop dish was amazing and the Parker house rolls were also amazing. I think we interacted with someone from management who seemed very friendly. However, our server was less than attentive And did not extend a great deal of hospitality. The Busboys made up for the lack of service from our server and they were extremely friendly and attentive when they came to clear plates from the table. Overall, we had a great experience and I would try this restaurant again.

The scallops were delicious. The bolognese pappardelle was unexpectedly spicy. The French fries are always outstanding.

Two Thirty Forest is always terrific! The food, the service, the ambience all of it! We’ve been going there for over 20 years! We’ve never been disappointed

We just happened to go here randomly because a valet guy recommended it. The food was incredible. By far the best French onion soup ever!

We celebrated my friend's birthday at 230 Forest today. We sat outside on their beautiful patio and enjoyed the great weather and perfect food. We ordered fish tacos and the candied walnut and salmon salad. Pure deliciousness all around! The service was excellent and attentive. I have dined at 230 Forest since 1998. I love it every time! I highly recommend this Laguna Beach treasure.
