Please join us at 740 Front in Historic Downtown Louisville. Designated historical, 740 is one of Colorado's two oldest remaining saloons; transformed back to its 1904 roots; a traditional American dining saloon with a turn of the century ambiance featuring a magnificent room dominating bar, built in 1880 by the Brunswick Company,. The copper spit trough, once equipped with running water, still exists at the front of the bar. Louisville, notorious for its drinking, gambling, and illegal activities, evidence of the occasional misunderstanding is the .22 caliber bullet hole in the front bar.
The bar offers a selection of craft beers, wines, handcrafted cocktails and an extensive craft bourbon selection.
Dinner Tue. thru Sat. From casual to fine dining.

We love to take new friends and out-of-town guests to Front Street. Food and service is always excellent. The ambiance is upscale and quaint at the same time. Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous meal and great service! The only negative was the noise level from a large party seated in the bar area. It was hard to hear conversation from across our table in the upstairs area. When the party left it was much easier to have a conversation. The food and service were excellent!

Absolutely delicious. From the delightful ambiance to the perfectly crafted cocktails, appetizers, steaks and sides, every single item was amazing!

I enjoyed The Bees Knees, Gin, honey syrup and lemon juice. Would recommend The deviled eggs for an appetizer were yummy. Shared a ceasar salad with the husband...a bit too lemony.. We then had the lollipop lamb chops , with creamed spinach, and the PEI mussels as an entree. Lamb chops were tasty, had more garlic than we cared for. Would have been better off ordering them as an appetizer. We didn't need that much food. Great service, its a beautiful restaurant. Next time we'll sit at the bar, which was packed when we arrived. I wasn't happy with our small table, and would have much rather of sat in the main dining area. I asked if we could switch our table, but we didn't seem to have a choice.

We had a party of 10 the service was amazing. The food all came out at the same time and was hot and delicious. I would definitely recommend.

Great food options & wonderful service! Thank you for the added kitchen humor, they added a smiley face to our crab-cake. Keep up the great teamwork, we will return for sure.
