With panoramic views of Grand Traverse Bay and a vibrant, contemporary menu, Aerie Restaurant & Lounge has always been a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Located on the 16th floor of the Tower, inside Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, we have proudly served northern Michigan for more than 10 years. Our acclaimed dining venue favors friendly over formality and has become a mecca for those who love bold, exciting flavors. We feature local wine and beer selections and make a point of sourcing local ingredients to give you a true taste of Northern Michigan. Join us for dinner Wednesday- Saturday, and brunch on Sunday.

We were here for restaurant week. Often times during restaurant week portion are smaller but this was not the case. Full size portions. Everything was fantastic and we each tried something different. It is a beautiful setting but not too fussy either. The service was a bit slow but they acknowledged it and offered to comp our drinks which is fair. We will definitely return

We had a wonderful meal at Aerie. The food was amazing. My husband and I shared the Beet Salad and the Gnocchi with mushrooms as an appetizer. We both had the Bolognese as our entree. The portion was very generous and delicious. You can’t beat the view from the 16th floor of the sunset. Carly, our server, was the best. She was attentive and we never felt rushed.

The food was delicious and the service great. The view of sunset is fantastic. Definitely a must visit in the great Traverse City area.

We enjoyed our breakfast/ brunch today. There were a ton of options. The desserts and brisket weren’t our favorites, but I did enjoy the salmon Benedict. Loved the omelette station also. Overall the food was good. We did try the dinner service the night before without success. We were sat and then never again acknowledged. It was over 11 minutes when we decided to leave.

They really need some help there. I guess the height has effected their ability to deliver a great meal for a reasonable price. $216 for two people with 7 items total on the menu. We laughed with a family of four that were seated near us during dinner on the way down the elevator about what we had actually been through. I really think a 1 out of 5 is too high for the overall experience.

I don’t know if it was because it is winter, but there was a very limited menu - three starters, three main courses and one dessert to choose from. It was disappointing and although they were good about providing a dish for my vegan friend, it is not the experience I was hoping for from such a fine restaurant. The views were pretty!
