Albert’s Restaurant and Bar is the second Albert’s opening and is a sister restaurant to Albert’s Shed in Castlefield. A slick, modern space with dining for 160 guests inside and a fabulous covered & heated outside dining terrace for 60 – perfect for alfresco dining.

The menu is modern British with an eclectic mix of Albert’s favourites and dishes from around the globe, all using only fresh local ingredients. The restaurant is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner and every Saturday and Sunday mornings for breakfast.

    The waitresses were stood around talking with one another, the food took around 25 minutes to arrive even though there was only one other table of 5 in. We were never asked if we would like another drink when are glasses were empty. Regarding the food my son enjoyed his roast chicken, I ordered the goats cheese pizza which was undercooked with a small sprinkling of goats cheese on and my wife ordered the fish and chips. The oil was obviously old as the batter and chips left an aftertaste and I would say that the fish was frozen and not fresh. (I have been a chef for 36 years).

    Great night staff excellent service excellent lovely atmosphere , I had the swordfish it was excellent would recommend this restaurant 😊

    Another lovely meal, food was reasonably priced and good quality. Service was very good and the staff were attentive without being intrusive.

    The food and service were excellent! I was a little disappointed that we were asked to vacate our table 15 minutes before the 2 hour window had ended, but otherwise a lovely lunch.

    Lovely atmosphere & surroundings and even better quality great value delicious food. One of my fave places to visit staff are always so polite & welcoming. An overall excellent place to visit.

    Great hot food, full of flavour and taste! The Christmas layout was beautifully decorated and the staff were on hand with anything we wanted. We couldn't fault it one bit.
