Albert’s Restaurant and Bar is the second Albert’s opening and is a sister restaurant to Albert’s Shed in Castlefield. A slick, modern space with dining for 160 guests inside and a fabulous covered & heated outside dining terrace for 60 – perfect for alfresco dining.

The menu is modern British with an eclectic mix of Albert’s favourites and dishes from around the globe, all using only fresh local ingredients. The restaurant is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner and every Saturday and Sunday mornings for breakfast.

    It was ok, upon looking they ask you to mark an "occasion", this is purely a marketing ploy for them. Do not fill this in thinking it matters, it doesn't.

    On arrival nice prompt service to be seated, quickly served with drinks and orders taken. Starter’s arrived promptly, then there was considerable wait for the six main courses possible 35 to 40 minutes, I appreciate the was very busy but when have two young children it seems like long wait. We did find the roast beef rather tough, everything else about meal was very good and the staff did apologise for the wait and were attentive. Overall we had a very good meal and enjoyable time.

    We were welcomed by a lovely member off staff who told us all about the menus and what item wasn't available. Several of us ordered steak writes (pink) and when they arrived only one was pink and all the steaks were luke warm. We were given a free dessert to compensate which we appreciated.

    A great end to a weary day. Our go to place for a relaxing tea. The service again was excellent.

    Very quiet for a Sunday morning and parked easily which was great. My sons avo on toast with poached eggs was great, wouldn’t recommend the cherry pancake stack

    I was a little sceptic as in the past had a poor experience on NYE and at breakfast but this lunchtime dry menu was fabulous. The food quality was excellent, flavoursome well presented, the cost of a bottle of wine in line with the bars in the area £24, and the overall style and layout in the restaurant and bar area is very nicely done. I Would recommend for lunch 100%.

    The welcome and staff helpfulness was 5 star. Food was excellent, apart from the pizza, which was not quite up to your normal standard, the base was underdone as if not cooked in a hot enough oven, but overall a great experience for my mothers 84th birthday, family get together
