Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar opened in 2009, reviving the former Amen name of Cumberland Street and restoring this historic corner. The new renovation stays true to the beauty of the original 1800's architecture while creating a comfortable atmosphere for contemporary life.



Located at 205 East Bay Street in the heart of the historic district this Charleston seafood restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining all within walking distance of the local Market and the Charleston Harbor.



The menu includes a variety of seafood dishes such as oysters, clams and shrimp in addition to an ever growing raw bar menu. Amen Street supports Charleston's local fishing industry with market fresh fish.



We are open for lunch and dinner. Walk-ins are welcome and reservations are accepted as well.

                                  We had a great NYE dinner here, casual atmosphere, the food is always great with perfect sized portions. We hadn’t been in awhile and it was nice to see consistency with food and overall experience year after year.

                                  Started with oyster shooters, baked oysters, then a po boy, and finished it off with a sugar cookie martini. Also a great beer selection.

                                  Recommended to come here by a friend. Totally worth the late dinner. Our server was extraordinary- totally took care of my weird food allergies and chef provided an excellent meal despite my restrictions. Lovely cocktails, decent wine list. We had an amazing time.

                                  It was not that busy but our food took about 40 minutes to get to us. My scallops were hot but were on a bed of cold risotto. The shrimp corn dogs sounded like an interesting dish but it was very unremarkable. In a foodie town like Charleston, my expectations are high so I’m afraid this one was a disappointment.
