Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar opened in 2009, reviving the former Amen name of Cumberland Street and restoring this historic corner. The new renovation stays true to the beauty of the original 1800's architecture while creating a comfortable atmosphere for contemporary life.



Located at 205 East Bay Street in the heart of the historic district this Charleston seafood restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining all within walking distance of the local Market and the Charleston Harbor.



The menu includes a variety of seafood dishes such as oysters, clams and shrimp in addition to an ever growing raw bar menu. Amen Street supports Charleston's local fishing industry with market fresh fish.



We are open for lunch and dinner. Walk-ins are welcome and reservations are accepted as well.

                                  Our order was very late coming to the table. Good food and nice atmosphere. We live locally so I would rate this as average for Charleston.

                                  My family and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Amen! My son and I split 1/2 dozen oysters that were perfection. We ordered the hushpuppies and fried green tomatoes for the table, both were delicious. My husband had the fried chicken, which was excellent, my son ordered the noodles from the kid's menu and I had the fig and goat cheese salad. Our server was kind and attentive and the restaurant was cozy and festive for the season. The drinks were very good as well - mocktails and non-alcoholic IPA. We would absolutely go back!

                                  Enjoyed our dinner as usual. My husband had a pecan old-fashioned and it was delicious. I had the shrimp platter, which is always on point.

                                  I saw all the reviews for the shrimp and grits, and had came here just for that…. & they were absolutely delicious! It was sooo flavorful, had a nice spice, was very warm and comforting for a cold day! Really glad I tried it. The staff was friendly, it took a little time for someone to initially greet me but after my order was taken, everything was smooth sailing. Would recommend!

                                  We loved our dinner at Amen! We arrived early for our reservation and had oysters, clams, and drinks at the bar before our dinner. So good! We had the surf and turf special and Lowcountry Bouillabaisse - both were delicious.

                                  The shrimp and grits were outstanding. Husband said the fried oysters were amazing. He had the swordfish fish special (which was a too spicy for him) but, the fish itself was good. Large portions
