Situated beside a creek, with a large dining room built out overlooking a waterfall, Ancaster Mill is in demand year-round for weddings, family or corporate events and celebrations.               We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch at the Mill. The historic buildings, both inside and out, are gorgeous. And the food! It was a pleasure to have an expansive buffet offered. Everything was presented in a charming yet elegant way. The seafood (freshly shucked oysters, large shrimp, smoked salmon, mussels, crab legs), and plenty of it, was a highlight for us. But the carvery station with baked ham and roast beef and roast pork with old-fashioned crackling was equally yummy! The service and attention to detail really shine. And a big part of that was due to our server, Candace. She was simply wonderful. Thank you all. Our 50th wedding anniversary tour continues, but this was a highlight.

              What a wonderful restaurant!! The setting is amazing. The waterfall and garden area are fairytale like. The food was fabulous. Every meal we ordered was delicious, a step above in thought put to toppings and garnish. The service was top rate. The whole experience was memorable. I would highly recommend the Ancaster Mill, especially for special occasions!

              Delicious meal and excellent service. Some menu items were $$$ A dress code would be appreciated. Business casual for example. Some customers wearing jeans and baseball caps!

              Food was great. A little noisier than we expected and we had two babies with our party who were quieter than the very full restaurant. Surprised that there were no diaper changing tables in any washroom which seems quite backward in this day and age. Had to change baby on floor, yuk! There were quite a few kids so not like kids don’t go there with brunch and family style dinners!
