Great food, great service. Only criticism, our booking via OpenTable said we would have the service fee waivered as a "pre-theatre treat", however this did not happen. We had a good experience and so we didn't say anything, but if this is not being followed through, it should not be offered in the first place.

Thank you for your comments. We do not really know whether you have tickets to go to the theatre unless you tell us on the night. We assume you do not want to have the charge reversed because of the new Law about the service charge. Some people (but not all by any means) they leave the service charge for tips. The people who shows the ticket in order not to be charge the service charge knows the staff will go without tip. Once again thanks for your comments and know, in a way, the staff thanks you for your tip.

This is a very good restaurant for pre-theatre or a quick meal. It is unpretentious but staff are friendly. It feels like it has been here for many years and has a traditional feel to it - which we like. We have been here several times and always enjoyed it. Apart from the obvious tapas choices, our favourite is Judias Blancas con Chorizo (white bean stew with chorizo).

We only had a light bite here but we couldn’t have been welcomed in a more friendly manner. Enjoyed the food and nice drink to go with it. Will definitely return for a proper meal later.

What to say? So bad. The food was beyond JV for tapas. The chicken was a chicken nugget stick for children. The sauces lacked flavor. It was in a basement which felt like a basement. Just a bad call.

I am sorry you feel you made a mistake but I can assure you that we only use first class ingredients. The pollo empanado which seems you have had is freshly made chicken breast coated in eggs and breadcrumbs. You can see they are home made if only because they are all different sizes. The sauces we are usually praised about them. You do not mention any other dish. Once again I am sorry you were disappointed.

Good atmosphere, although slightly cramped downstairs space. Excellent service, ideal for pre-theatre meal.
