My wife and I went for dinner before the Symphony,, and had a wonderful experience! The Ribeye was delicious, as well as the Filet Mignon. We always enjoy the Chateau Pascaud Merlot! The waiter, from NY, was quite personable and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

Some of our steaks were a little bit cold. Service was excellent, starting from the bar to the table up stairs.

I made a reservation for four people at a high-top table for 4:30 pm. The hostess proceeded to sit my family and me at the low table. I then asked the hostess about the high table I reserved. The hostess replied I can sit you there, but we need the table by 6:15 pm. I politely said, ma'am, I am just asking about my reservation. Sitting at the wrong table and telling the table was needed at a particular time was rude and unprofessional—poor customer service. The young lady should have apologized for sitting at the wrong table. Her comment regarding the time limit was unnecessary and rude. Are all customers who make reservations reminded about the time limit?

My recent visit to Anson11 in El Paso was a mixed experience. I ordered the seafood medley linguine, which was generously portioned and included salmon, mussels, scallops, and shrimp in a creamy pesto sauce. My wife had the blackened Chilean sea bass, which was perfectly cooked and accompanied by fingerling potatoes and a shiitake brown butter broth, making it the highlight of the meal. However, the service left room for improvement. I had ordered Riesling but was served Pinot Grigio instead. While this was a small mistake, it detracted from the otherwise upscale experience. Despite this, the staff was courteous and the ambiance—especially the outdoor seating—added to the meal’s charm. Anson11 has potential, but attention to detail in service could elevate it further.

The Christmas Lights experience was great. The food and wine pairings were delicious and complimented each other perfectly. The service was excellent as always, all of the staff attentive and friendly. The Christmas music to accompany the dinner was appropriate and set the mood. Overall, we had a great time.
