Arthurs Steakhouse started in 1948 by Arthurs Bates and his wife off of McKinney Avenue in the Dallas uptown District. It moved to the Gold Towers on Central Expressway and after decades, in 2001, it relocated to Addison where is thrives today. Now withstanding the test of over 70 years, Arthurs Steakhouse offers a grand setting with a Rat Pack Chic vibe and high style for guests to relax and enjoy fine dining with nightly entertainment. You are welcomed into the main dining room by the giant 600 lb Baccarat Crystal Chandelier that suspends over the main dining room. The main dining room is surrounded by 1200 gallons of fresh water aquariums with colorful fish to watch you dine. Arthurs invites you to dine with them in the same way a friend invites you to their home. Five star dining with menu features like Escargot, Crab Cakes, Champagne Brie Soup, Tournedos Rossini, and Chocolate Souffles for dessert. The wine list is extensive and affordable.

OUTSTANDING! We had Christmas lunch here. It was a prefix menu and the price is very reasonable. The filet was one of the best that I had. The restaurant ambience is old school and the service exceptional! We will definitely be back!

Cocktails and wines were very good. Meats courses were excellent. Sides were uninspired but competent. Service was pleasant and attentive. There was Karaoke the night we visited, which made for a noisy experience.

Our experience at Arthur's was flawless. They were so welcoming and thought of everything from the first moment to the last. We were worried about having our baby at such an elegant place, but they assured us it was no problem at all and took us to a private booth. Our server Hamid was incredible and anticipated our 15m old babies every need before we even thought to ask. We had cocktails, which were strong and delicious, then glasses of wine with dinner. Out steaks were out of this world. I had the filet Oscar (filet medallions with lobster) and my husband had the ribeye. We hardly talked at all as we ate, our steaks seasoned and cooked to perfection. We prefer creamier key lime pie, but it still delicious. The classic decor was a beautiful backdrop. Don't even get me started on the stunning chandeliers! Hubby wanted to get home in time to catch the OSU game, but we were told there would be live music at 8pm every night! We need to return asap. Hopefully my review is not so gushing that OpenTable thinks I'm a bot, because we really had a lovely evening. We have been to many, many steakhouses and usually frequent another that starts with B when my in laws are in town, but this may be our new favorite!!

We came to celebrate my birthday and this place did NOT disappoint. Service at dinner was impeccable, the food was outstanding and they even did a little something special for me in honor of my birthday. Ended the evening on the bar side. Here, waitstaff was great and the live music was great. I wish we’d discovered this place sooner.

I’m incredibly disappointed with my recent experience at this steakhouse. Our party consisted of two adults and two children, and I specifically asked for the kids’ menu. To my shock, the waiter responded, “I didn’t see any children.” Such an insensitive and rude comment is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, I wanted to order something from the à la carte menu, only to be told repeatedly that it was unavailable. However, when settling the bill, the waiter casually mentioned that I could have ordered it from the bar, which was just a few feet away. Why wasn’t this shared earlier? Additionally, I was charged for four adult meals despite our party clearly having children. The entire experience felt dismissive and disorganized, leaving me deeply dissatisfied. This isn’t the level of service I expect from an establishment of this caliber. Despite those issues, it is a gorgeous setting, very quiet with a nice touch of elderly music.
