                                                I like this place for its location. The food is good. The service is outstanding. Had nachos and BLTA sandwich. Big pile of nachos which were tasty with added chicken. The sandwich needs less avocado and more bacon. Side salad was weak and the house made dressing was so-so. When I requested a different table for more room, they were most accommodating. Staff is so nice and helpful. A real plus in Chicago restaurants.

                                                The service and ambiance were good, but the food was not the best. We had bacon waffles, the loaded potatoes, and the jam biscuit. I would come again for drinks, or maybe to try dinner, but not breakfast.

                                                Not the same quality and elegance as it used to have years ago. Disappointed.

                                                Caroline, We apologize that we are not the Atwood that you were expecting from years past. We have made some changes from years past after the pandemic and are striving to make sure we are still provide the same quality and service that any guest would expect when joining us. We have shared your review with the whole team and are using it as a learning tool so that we can make sure to provide quality food and service to all of our guests. We do hope to see you again in the future so that we can show you the old Atwood spirit is still here.

                                                Food was tasty and presently well. Service was slow and server needed to be asked more than once for standard items such as tableware and cream for coffee

                                                Arrived at 5:00 to a very empty restaurant. Told the waitress we had tickets to a show and needed to be out by 6:30. Did the prix-fix theater menu so they had our entire order up front. They brought out 3 starters and then 5 minutes later the 4th person's starter. The same thing happened with dinner. Dinner plates were on the table ready to be cleared for 30 mins. Then at 6:25 when we were just about to ask for our apple crisps to go, they brought them out cold. Restaurant was still empty, so don't know why the service was so bad.
