The original jewel in the Oliver & Bonacini crown and a North Toronto icon, Auberge du Pommier has been serving guests since 1987. Constructed around the rustic vestiges of two 1860’s woodcutters’ cottages, Auberge du Pommier combines country charm with contemporary sophistication and style. Featuring wood burning fireplaces in winter and lush, floral terraces in summer, it is a welcoming, refined retreat from the city.

Please note: reservations for Summerlicious open on June 29, and will be available online only.

    Auberge du Pommier offers two exclusive private dining rooms for corporate and social events. The restaurant is also available for full buy-outs Saturday lunch and Sunday lunch and dinner, accommodating up to 145 guests. In season enjoy a lush garden terrace for outdoor ceremonies and receptions.

Indulge in a four-course prix fixe menu designed by our Chef de Cuisine featuring elevated takes on cold-weather favourites. Offering a view into his inspired vision, this carefully choreographed progressive experience blends classic French techniques with modern gastronomy to tell the story of Canada’s rich bounty. Remaining true to Auberge du Pommier’s 35+ year history, French staples are reimagined to reflect the best of the season, while canapés and petit fours change often.     This is the restaurant We celebrate our anniversary every year for many years now. The receptionist made us felt very special, and all the food we ordered, of course once more very good! We ate in this restaurant since 1988, this times we noticed ‘beef tartare “ has a new version which tasted very good !

    I ordered the French onion soup. It was disappointing unlike any soup I have had in France. Two of us ordered the steak tartar which was unlike anything I have had before in other French restaurants. It was almost frozen solid and looked as if it had just come from a meat grinder. There seemed to be none of the usual additions one expects in beef tartar. One of us ordered the gnocchi and was compared to eating stones with little taste. I had the Halibut which I found to be delicious and I had ordered it in the past for the same pleasure. I was surprised your selection of beers was quite small and had run out of the dark beer I wished to have. Overall, my friends were disappointed with their meals and we may not return.
