Award winning Chef Carlo Cavallo’s upscale gastropub concept, B&V Whiskey Bar & Grille is located in the Historic Sonoma Creamery building across the street from the Old Mission in the Sonoma Plaza. We are Sonoma Plaza's only brew pub, whiskey bar. B&V's menu format is wine country inspired with farm to table elements, Italian and French influences, and good old fashion steak house. Chef Carlo Cavallo has won best beef in America, and been on Food Networks Guy Fieri show.

    Great spot. Friendly staff. Attentive waiter. Food came quickly, and was reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

    As locals, we come frequently and it’s always great! We like to sit at the bar, but sat at a table this time and still had a great experience. Currently addicted to the pastas (paglia fieno, gnocchi, and linguine con gamberi specifically) which are all made in house and delicious! Drinks are excellent, food is excellent, and the staff are both fun and friendly. Highly recommend this local spot for a relaxed, no frills environment at great prices!

    Great experience! Italian food was deliciously executed and presented. Our server Michelle was so wonderful- friendly, helpful and a delight to be around. Our experience here became part of a wonderful time in Sonoma. Check it out!

    Our server “T” was very attentive and friendly. The food was served warm and was delicious. Very convenient location for the square and theater.

    Only complaint is that we had a reservation and were on time, yet still had to wait 1/2 hour for our table. We were not the only ones. Seems like they overbook. Food great, server great.
