Lovely cosy spot for brunch especially when decorated for Christmas. Was packed very tightly but nice atmosphere

Lovely three course lunch with friends. Enjoyed the mozzarella starter, turkey and Christmas pudding from the Nutcracker menu. Very reasonable price. Attentive service but not over the top. This is the second time I’ve been here in a month and it is now one of my favourite places.

This restaurant has one major problem - the noise. It is very difficult to hold a conversation with your dinner partner if you can hardly hear what he/she is saying.

The lady who greeted us at the door got the timings all wrong & said we’d need to leave by 1715. Giving us 45 minutes to eat. She couldn’t seem to compute that was ridiculous & took her a while to work out our time to leave would be 6ish. Didn’t leave a great first impression. Our table was ridiculously small for us both. Disappointed as previously had a much larger table for 2 of us. Service was nice, sadly nowhere near enough wine knowledge was known when we asked our server a few questions. Everyone was pleasant, & although we were taking our time we were rushed with the bill, payment & being asked to leave. Perhaps tourists dawdle but we are locals. Always a great option pre theatre but my friend wasn’t impressed. Sadly.
