Bar Red is located just east of Colfax and Glenarm, two blocks from the Colorado Convention Center and directly across Colfax from the Golden Triangle. Bar Red offers Authentic Italian cuisine. Happy hour from 4pm-7pm and dinner from 5pm to close. The menu was prepared by Chef Luke McCoy. Chef Luke is classically trained in French and Italian Cuisine. Chef Luke's signature Seared Salmon Risotto is famous amongst regulars. All of Chef Luke's dishes are meticulously prepared with fresh scratch ingredients ...and his house-made Desserts are to die for. The menu changes weekly with many mainstay dishes to please all foodies. Bar Red also features occasional live music and there is never a cover charge. A semi-private lounge room is also available for large parties. The room has customizable seating and includes a working fireplace to complete the romantic, comfortable setting.

                                                      Great small, cozy spot to dine, 12 min walk to DCPA. Delicious food and very attentive service (we WERE early). Wine dinners are fun. Heartily recommend.

                                                      I’ll be honest, I was a bit concerned about what to expect when I walked in. It’s a tiny place, not fancy. However the food was awesome. I had the pasta that was freshly made there and probably the best I’ve ever had. My friend had the pizza and was most impressed since she can be a pizza snob. 😎 the crust was also freshly made. The wine was very nice too. The service was the best we experienced while in Denver. Bravo guys! We’ll be back.

                                                      The food was great. Spinach and Artichoke dip is to die for. The best thing, however, was the service. Our server, and I think maybe the owner, were so friendly and accommodating. The dining room is small,but the ambience is great. I would definitely recommend this place for a good, italian meal.

                                                      We really enjoyed this little gem. The server was warm and attentive, the food was delicious. The place and staff are small, so best to go early so you don’t miss out. It was a short walk to the Bellco theatre and we will definitely be back.

                                                      We were greeted and seated promptly after they changed a high-top table for a regular table. The table was small but adequate. Service was friendly and efficient. The chicken parmigiana and salmon were well prepared and very tasty! The menu was limited but adequate. Prices were very reasonable considering similar offerings elsewhere. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
