We take our inspiration from traditions and specialties of our area, delicacies unique to our region, and the many outstanding purveyors with whom we are so fortunate to work. We LOVE Barbareno! The outdoor ambience is wonderful, and the food is always creative and delicious. Our server this time was spot on- attentive but not overbearing, with a nice spirit. Last year our server was a bit stiff, unwelcoming, and inattentive. It was nice to be welcomed back! Thanks so much! ~Beth

Every dish was a 10 out of 10. The service was gracious and warm and we felt very taken care of (Alvaro was amazing!). Each detail from the decor to plate settings was perfect. I can’t wait to go back and try everything else on the menu!!

The meal was wonderful -- beet salad, ricotta balls, BBQ platter. Perfectly prepared, hot and delicious. The wine recommendations were top notch. The service was quick, friendly, helpful and non-intrusive. The table lighting is a bit low, so iPhones were employed to read the menu -- no surprise there. Overall, we were delighted with the restaurant.

Crispy Pork Belly tasted like candy under the apple cinnamon glaze. Hope Ranch Mussels and broth were phenomenal! GET THE BREAD & SPREAD!!!!! Baked California was a perfect dessert. Super delectable and light. 1st time dining here, coming back again & can’t wait!

The team at Barbareño was so lovely! Thank you for making my husband feel special on his birthday. We enjoyed their signature Santa Maria BBQ platter the most of anything we ordered and their homemade sourdough is out of this world delicious.
