There's a Neighborhoody feel to this Friendly Upper Eastern Side Restaurant. Old School Cuisine, exceptional wine list and warm attentive service. Very convenient for pre or post shopping dining from Bloomingdales.; Barbaresco Restaurant serves fresh, flavorful upscale-casual Italian-style dishes prepared from the finest ingredients sourced from around the world. We make everything by hand every day—from our delicious soups and flavorful sauces to our salad dressings and desserts.                                                                         Is Italian neighborhood gem, service is incredible, food ir really good, has a little bar at the entrance. Ambiance is charming, romantic. We were with some friends and we had fegato a la veneciana, swordfish, orata, branzino, tomato and onion salad, some vegetables, all were really good. Good wine list. Love it.

                                                                        This is a good local restaurant. We shared the Cesar salad and it was skimpy. Each ordered the chicken livers which were very good and not often seen on menus elsewhere. Cant understand a word the waiter says when telling the specials.

                                                                        We've always had good meals at Barbaresco. Last night 3 out of the 4 of us enjoyed their dinners. I ordered the chicken with sausage and mushrooms, which I've had before, but this time the chicken tasted "pre-cooked" and was dried out -- it was nothing like the last time I ordered it. We sat towards the back of the restaurant and it was very noisy so we could barely hear each other (OpenTable calls it "lively"). We also had trouble hearing the head waiter recite the specials. The front of the restaurant tends to be quieter.

                                                                        Our favorite local, and consistently one of the best Italian restaurants on the UES. Always a good atmosphere, delicious food and friendly, charming staff. Nice wine list - and not too expensive - and invariably a great selection of specials as well as menu classics. We love it.

                                                                        Always delicious. The staff is friendly. Most diners are regulars, so they are greeted by name. A very nice neighborhood restaurant. Even if you dine by yourself you will not feel alone.
