Barolo Grill, an award winning Cherry Creek North restaurant, prides itself on serving authentic northern Italian food while maintaining a comfortable, elegant ambience. Known for hand crafted modern Northern Italian cuisine, a Wine Spectator Grand Award winning wine cellar, and knowledgeable, attentive staff, Barolo can be a perfect choice for a special occasion or just a fun night out. Chef Darrel Truett's cuisine focuses on the Northern Italian provinces of Piedmont and Tuscany. Seasonally changing menus feature locally sourced ingredients, proudly supporting regional farms and producers. Owner and wine director Ryan Fletter are proud to feature small family wineries that are dedicated to Earth-friendly farming and winemaking philosophies. Barolo Grill has one of the largest collections of Barolo wines outside of Italy.

It’s still one of Denver’s top special occasion destinations, thanks to an award-winning wine list—one of the city’s best—and refined dishes like lobster ravioli and braised duck with Kalamata olives. Cap celebratory meals here with the torta di formaggio, a decadent cheesecake topped with lavender honey and toasted hazelnuts.

                                        Table for 3 very early on NYE with the elevated wine pairing. I had the soufflé, the plin pasta, beef tenderloin and the dessert. The wines were nice. The service was excellent, but the food was quite underwhelming… especially the beef tenderloin. I was hoping the dessert course would redeem the disappointing entrée, but it was ho hum. The list of places in the area worthy of this kind of expense is growing ever shorter and it made NYE especially feel like the end of an era. I know restaurants are working very hard in this environment. Something just isn’t working anymore. I’m quite sad for restaurants and patrons.

                                        Staff was knowledgeable and very kind. Ambiance was romantic and cozy. The food and cocktails were incredible! A la carte pricing was very reasonable. They made our anniversary one to remember!

                                        Exceptional restaurant. Service at all levels was outstanding. Ambiance was superb - welcoming feeling, tables nicely spaced, noise level tuned to just right, lighting excellent. Menu was nicely limited with an excellent range of foods for every course. Wine list almost intimidating, but there were good choices at all price levels. We enjoyed a nice Super Tuscan. The food was superb, with every item on the plate prepared beautifully and presented with care. This is a special place.

                                        Loved the experience, really fun place to go for a nice paced meal with four courses. Great service. I love the staff goes to Italy every year. I would recommend it.
