The Belvedere Inn is an award-winning restaurant in Lancaster, PA, known for its delicious cuisine ranging from new age American to European styles as well as it’s elegant dining atmosphere. Come in, relax and have a great time. Enjoy our savory appetizers and entrees. Stop by for a cocktail after work or enjoy live jazz in our piano bar upstairs. There's something for everyone at The Belvedere, and our friendly staff will always make you feel welcome. We are committed to using the freshest local produce and organic ingredients from Lancaster County, plus unique foods from around the world.     A Birthday to Remember at Belvedere Inn For my birthday dinner, my wife and I decided to celebrate at Belvedere Inn, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable dining experiences we've ever had. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable hospitality. The ambiance was simply enchanting—elegant yet inviting, with soft lighting and a touch of sophistication that set the perfect tone for the evening. The attention to detail in the decor was remarkable, creating an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and intimate. The menu was a culinary masterpiece, offering a variety of dishes that appealed to every palate. Every plate that arrived at our table was not just beautifully presented but also an explosion of flavor. We Started out with steamed mussels white wine, garlic, shallots and house made bread. I opted for the chicken piccata, cooked to perfection, while my wife savored the pan-seared scallops w/ veggies and chopped lobster, which was rich and creamy without being overwhelming. The dessert—a chocolate hazelnut richer with caramel and cocoa crumbs—was the cherry on top of an already extraordinary meal. What truly set Belvedere Inn apart, though, was the service. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made thoughtful recommendations that elevated our experience even further. To our surprise, the staff also brought out a complimentary dessert to mark my birthday, complete with a personalized message. In every aspect—food, ambiance, and service—Belvedere Inn exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply indulge in an unforgettable meal, I wholeheartedly recommend it. We can’t wait to return!

    We’ve been going here for as long as I can remember. It’s always been our number one in Central Pennsylvania Tonight we went for a special Christmas evening with friends. First, Lindsey the bartender was rude when we arrived. Then she ended up being our waitress. No personality. Not friendly or warm. Our meals were average at best. Filet. So so. Chicken piccata boring. Osso bucco tough. This has been our favorite restaurant in Central Pennsylvania for so many years. We were shocked. They had a wedding on the first floor, which maybe took away all the attention. We are very sad as Belvedere was the gold standard for Central Pennsylvania. Lindsey ruined the evening from the start. Service has always Been number one there. What happened???

    Zach was awesome! Super knowledgeable, friendly, down to earth, expert on the menu, and great sense of humor! Food is excellent!! Ambiance, decor, vibe, lighting, and furniture is perfect! Top notch restaurant in every way. Will go again, and again, and again!

    We enjoyed dinner in the outdoor “igloo”. While it was quiet and charming, it was actually quite chilly and very tight quarters - we may have been more comfortable inside. Belvedere’s food is always top notch but all 5 of us agreed that everything was far too salty (like many American restaurants). Better flavor could be achieved with more herbs and less salt. Our server seemed a bit stressed and impatient but it was a very busy evening.

    Everything was on point. Friendly hostess sat us promptly and addressed our parking concerns. Happy birthday name card was at my husband’s seat . Waiter was very attentive and accommodating. Food was delicious made to our perfection. The atmosphere was adorned In festive Christmas attire as the fireplace gave off a warm flow.
