The Belvedere Inn is an award-winning restaurant in Lancaster, PA, known for its delicious cuisine ranging from new age American to European styles as well as it’s elegant dining atmosphere.     This was our first time at the Belvedere Inn and it will be our last. We decided to try a "Thanksgiving" dinner there and it was a big mistake. Even though the restaurant was almost empty at the time we were there, we were seated up on the 2nd floor near the bar. We were treated to the sounds of a couple of drunks that really should have been flagged a couple of drinks earlier. To add to our enjoyment, we got to experience eating at the kids table. I say this because the tables were too high for the chairs or the chairs were too low for the tables. Either way, it made for an uncomfortable experience. Our first interaction with the waitress was her complaining the about the rest of the staff because they didn't bother to give us the Thanksgiving menu. The Thanksgiving meal could have easily come from a TV dinner. Something on the plate was way over salted and that overwhelmed the turkey loaf. The only thing that was high class about the place was the bill and they charged like they actually had a nice place to dine with good food.

    Food was perfect and I'm left dreaming about having seconds just a few hours later. Service was also well above expectation. Belvedere has mastered a perfect dining experience.

    the bars were both jumping, and the restaurant upstairs lively with a band. We had excellent food and loved the whole experience. We love the Belvedere!

    Everything was delicious....drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert! The staff were super friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back!
