   Took 2.5 hours - waited an hour for chef to start. Manager was great, gave our table free cali rolls. Prices have gone up about 10-15.00 more.

   My waiter never came back to ask if we wanted more drinks and they forgot my kids food. For the 300 I spent I will never be back

   Horrible service. It took the chef an hour to come to our table and then trying to pay and get out was a nightmare. They are severely understaffed but did not seat people accordingly making for very high wait times at the table. Manager was rude. The waiters were the only thing that made us not leave. We didn’t even get the dessert that comes with the meals which are very expensive.

   Looks enough staff but untrained. It took 45 min till we get half of our group of 9 drinks and no water. It was 4 tables with guest and many server and couple of chefs running around and keep coming to correct wrong or missing drink or food

   Our chef was amazing and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed our food and conversation with the chef and waitress. They were very wonderful.

   I took my friend and myself out for our bdays. Waitress wasn't knowledgeable on the bday deal, or menu in general. Being new to the Benihana experience, I found this frustrating. Chef was a buzz kill. Nice, but lacked that entertainment skill. An expensive night, but I enjoyed my friend.

    The service was exceptional, but the food and the overall experience were disappointing. The manager and servers were great! We ordered hibachi steak and chicken. The small portion of vegetables we received was drenched in butter. I was astonished by the amount of butter added. The “chef” added two more heaping globs of butter when cooking the rice. I kindly requested that he remove one of them—thankfully, it was just my family at the table. Next came the protein, which turned out to be flavorless. Overall, the food was underwhelming, especially considering the total bill for four people was $240 before the tip. We will not revisit this restaurant. If you are new to Alaska, you will quickly learn that only a handful of good restaurants exist in this area.
