We were seated 20 minutes late despite arriving early, hostess was not friendly. Told the server we have a gluten allergy, she didn’t communicate one of the dishes wasn’t GF, instead it just never came. NA drinks took 20 minutes, alcoholic drinks took another 15. Table mates left during first course because the service was so bad. Manager asked if I wanted another lemonade, I said yes, before he brought it, server asked if I wanted on, I told her the manager already asked me. Serve brought the drink, manager brought another, asked why I already had one, then manager scolded us for ordering from someone else and literally threw straws at us on the table and said “hope this is good.” Chef complained the whole time about being understaffed and how “nobody wants to work anymore”. He didn’t do any of the usual “tricks” which is part of the experience and why we chose this location to celebrate a birthday. He showed me sunflower oil and said “is this good enough?” For my gluten allergy. It was uncomfortable. He also made an error in the food which he later graciously corrected, Because server entered order wrong (I saw the ticket). I had to order ice water 3 times to receive it. Then, when the busser was clearing entrees as we were waiting for to go boxes, he took our (full!!) drinks without asking and stacked dirty plates from another guest on the food we were waiting to wrap up. The vibes were incredibly hostile all around, from each staff member. Thankfully our table mates were kind and able to laugh at the terrible experience.
