    Had to ask several times for a birthday song .. waitress seem to forget and what ever happened to the picture for the birthday person?

    Went in at 115pm and didn’t get our meal until 245pm. The chef (WOO) was extremely rude and was ignoring requests. He (WOO) never offered any of the sauces and stated no one at the table said please. When he (WOO) finally gave a sauce, he was saying he should’ve charged us for it. WOO, overall made this birthday experience for my friend extremely sour.

    Awful experience. Never again. Waited more than 45 minutes after reservation time. Mediocre/low quality food.

    We had an excellent chef named OJ and the food was excellent. The music was very loud, and the staff was quick to turn it down when asked.

    So upset. I spoke to the manager Mel. Our chef was a nice guy but cooked so slow, the eggs were over cooked for the rice and the rice started to get burn under the heart. He did not add garlic butter to anything. He added oil and then butter let it burn and then added it to onions. He did the same for the shrimps and rice. My wife noticed and asked for him to please add garlic butter. But he refused stating this was better. They were sold out of Japanese Wagy so I settled for the California. He did not added no salt or pepper only cooked it in lard so many flavors missed! My wife’s ocean treasure missing so many flavors as well because of his method of cooking. The server was in a rush and just handed me the handheld unit to pay and what frustrated me worse was the rushing to leave because they were packed.

    Poor experience. The place looks great. Its a shame the management is awful. The food was C quality. My son’s burger came out after one hour and after we had eaten our other entrees. It seems as though it was not put in the order. Given it took so long I asked for it to be comped but the manager, Bell, refused to do it. First time I have experienced this at any restaurant. Service seemed extremely disorganized, which is a shame. I will not be returning.

    We had a great Chef/Cook named Alvaro from Nicaragua. He was excellent he prepared the food in a great way, delicious. Alvaro was very entertaining and had a lot of patience during his cooking. Alvaro took to care in a timely and proper manner of all the special requests made by some of the guest in the table. Alvaro is definitely great asset to Benihana Miami Beach
