    We arrived early for an 8:00 reservation for 6 people to grab a drink and relax before dinner. The bar and lounge area was packed wall to wall with people with everyone trying to get drinks, some people eating and only one bartender trying to take care of over 40-50 people. Eventually we did get a seat at a table by the window as there was no other space to stand or sit. Unfortunately, we did have to wait over 30 min for our drinks (one bottle of wine, one hot sake, and a beer) to arrive to be served wine in rocks glasses (not a big deal). The wine was off and tasted like vinegar but the bartender did not stick around for us to try it and we could not get his attention for another 30 min so my party gave up and choked down the wine. At this point it was 8:30 and we still had not been sat for our 8:00 reservation so I went and asked the host how long it would be and was met with ‘I don’t have a table it’ll be ready when it’s ready’. Finally we were sat about 8:45, our waitress was very abrupt and in a rush, not her fault but it seems they were understaffed. We ordered our hibachi meals and a round of merry berry margaritas, the drinks came out after the soup and salad. The chef did the bare minimum as far as a “show” goes and just wanted to cook and leave. He didn’t salt or pepper any of the meat which was another disappointment. We did not see our waitress for a while and had to wait on drink refills throughout almost the entire cooking “show”. The only highlight was the bus boy who was attentive, brought out the soup and salad and cleared empty dishes quickly. At the end of the meal the waitress came back and gave everyone a polite ‘anyone want any tea or ice cream? No?’ Trying to rush us out of there. I have been to this Benihana many times over the last 5 years and have seen a gradual decline in attentiveness, showmanship and customer service. I was truly disappointed with this experience and I hope everyone knows what they’re in for before they eat here.

    We had a reservation and got seated right away. They took us upstairs to the hibachi. The ceilings are low, poor ventilation, it was so loud and they pack you in like sardines. We got one roll, 3 hibachi, and 3 drinks for $270. We chose this restaurant for the Hibach experience, and the chef didn't do anything but cook the food in front of us and didn't put on a show.

    It was good! Waited almost one hour after reservation to get seated and didn’t get the zucchini toss or sake you’re used to for the experience.
