   No one came or acknowledged us. Had to go up to the bar to place our happy hour order before 6 pm because no one showed up to serve us. We asked 3 times for tea. Had to ask twice to get soy sauce and Benihana special sauces. Had to ask for ketchup for my fries too. The entrees came before our appetizers. However our entrees got cold because we waited a long time for our special sauces. By the time our appetizers came we had to wait for the soy sauce. We hardly ate our chicken fried rice because it came so so late. My steak was over cooked when I asked for medium. The shrimp was way way over done. The fried rice was not freshly cooked as it was only warm and the chicken on top was dry. I highly suggest to not eat at the bar/lounge as the food is really not cooked to order. There was not one waiter at the bar/lounge area. The bar tender became our waiter. We tried to flag people down. We finally grabbed the person who escorts people to their table. The bar attendant saw us trying to flag him and he pretended not to see us and concentrated on a new couple who sat at the counter instead. I have been to Benihana many times and this got to be the pits. So so disappointed and dissatisfied.

   A good day to go to Benihana. I was eating at the bar. Good choice. I have previously been in the main dining room and the seating around the bar as well.

   Fantastic experience - Freddy (our chef) had only been onboard for 5 days, but you couldn’t tell because he was so good! Great food, great ambiance and a really fun experience!

   Benihana's was great- food excellent, service efficient, even for a REALLY busy Sun evening; but by far, the best thing about the meal, was Mario! Give that man a raise!

   Wonderful experience from beginning to end! We absolutely love coming to Benihana for all of our family celebrations. The servers were attentive and friendly. The chef was entertaining and customer-oriented. And of course the food was delicious as always! Thank you, Benihana, for yet another memorable experience! 😀

   I drove from Yuba city, CA it’s about at 2hr drive to visit Benihana in San Francisco for my birthday. My reservation was at 8:15 for 10 people. And I was told the restaurant was backed up that it should take about an hour longer to be seated. After an hour wait we went to check in a second time and they told the wait was going to be more than an hour wait. We waited until almost 10pm and we didn’t get seated. The host admitted that she lied to us just to keep us there in case someone else cancelled and they could have more customers. To take up the open spots. My family of ten were very disappointed especially with the long trip to celebrate my birthday. I tried to stay positive but it was frustrating that we were there until this location almost closed and we never got seated.

   Have always had a great an experience at Benihanas and have eaten at this location for the last 40 years but last night was different. We had to wait 1:45 min past our reservation time to be seated at our table and another 20 minutes before the server came to the table to take our order. Not sure if it was a one off night but seemed to be a lot of mismanagement going on. Food quality is always good and our chef was amazing.

   We had a reservation for 9 people at 7:30. We arrived at 7:15 and we were not sat until almost 9:00. Then we had to wait another hour for the chef to come to the table. The place was packed, the noise was insanely loud, the management never bothered to try to make anything right, and the whole experience was a big disappointment. We went for my daughters first trip to hibachi, and not getting to eat until 10pm when we had a 7:30 reservation was insane and not okay. Our chef, Freddy, was great. Other than that everything was terrible.

    We made a reservation for 6:30 and weren’t seated until 7:15pm. The host said they would text us when our table was ready and they didn’t. The food was over cooked and extremely greasy. We were charged extra for fried rice which wasn’t communicated to us upon ordering. Very underwhelmed by this experience.
