Unfortunately we picked a night that the restaurant must have had a staff issue with cooks. We were seated 10 min after our reservation time, which was great. Waitress was quick with drinks and taking order…. However, waiting for 90 minutes with no sign of a chef coming to table to cook was becoming too much for my young kids waiting.
Waitress said this was the second night like this with very long wait times for a chef to come to the table.
After speaking with manager, who only offered the response “we’re doing our best”, it was time for my party to leave so I could feed my kids.
I do understand being short staffed, but to fill every table up with customers and allow them to wait knowing they didn’t have enough cooks to handle all was just wrong.
This was by far the worst experience I’ve had. We never ate or were offered some food from kitchen to maybe hold us over . The manager was completely not sorry or caring of the situation.
I don’t know how you run a restaurant, but seems to me the right thing to do was not seat The restaurant to full capacity knowing you have no way of serving everyone. Maybe close off a few tables and let ppl know about wait time upfront.
