Founded in 2006, the family owned and operated Benjamin Restaurant Group has grown to comprise some of the New York metro areas premier culinary destinations. Now, they bring the glory straight to the heart of Westchester County. Offering exceptional food and service in luxurious environments, owners Benjamin Prelvukaj and Benjamin Sinanaj make it their mission to treat each guest like a member of their family. Benjamin Steakhouse offers juicy cuts of dry-aged beef-from 36-ounce Porterhouses to juicy, tender Ribeyes and succulent Filet Mignon. White Plains' dècor may look familiar to those who have dined at their Manhattan location with their signature dark wood floors, banquette seating, and burgundy booths in tow. The main dining room will also feature an oversized fireplace-a signature of Benjamin Steakhouse from day one.     Steak was served very tough(did order it medium but even at that temp there is no reason for USDA PRIME steak to chew like leather) and with a large connective tissue running through it.

    They were very understaffed for a Saturday. It took 2 hours for our main course to be served (table behind had same issue). The manger was no where to be found to explain the delay. Staff just kept saying sorry. We went for my mom’s birthday (noted on OpenTable) and staff never brought a cake we requested to sing happy birthday to her. My sister asked staff 3x to bring a dessert with a candle, but it never came after we waited for an extended time. It was impossible to track down our main waiter throughout dinner. Our night ended with the staff just saying sorry over and over for not bringing a cake and for the food coming late. Depressing way to end the evening. Waiters were nice - just completely overwhelmed/understaffed.

    Food was great. It was very loud. They have too many tables in main dinning room. The staff were actually running. Too many people and way too loud. Not the vibe I expect at a higher end restaurant.

    Food is always fantastic- great chopped tomato salad and filet mignon was cooked perfectly. It's a very busy restaurant and at times very loud.

    Benjamins never disappoints. We started with cocktails that were delicious and perfectly executed. Then the apps were crab cakes, bacon and shrimp cocktail. All were delicious and well presented. The bacon was cut up for us all to taste. It is excellent. For our mains we had the rib eye, filet and the sea bass. All were exceptional and savored. We ended the meal with crème brûlée. It was perfect night out.

    Benjamin’s is by far our favorite restaurant in Westchester. We done there a few times a month, and always celebrate special occasions there. All of the staff treats you as if you are family. One of the many amazing waiters, Granite has memorized each of our drink and food orders. The food is also amazing and no other steakhouse in Westchester can compare. Always an amazing experience at Benjamin’s.

    Benjamin’s continues to be, AND WILL REMAIN, mine and my family’s go to for special occasions. Albert and Vincenzo continue to make everyone feel like family. And the steak…there is none better!
