Berret's Seafood Restaurant specializes in fresh regional seafood-shrimp, blue crab, scallops, oysters, and tuna. Also offering steaks, chicken, and vegetarian selections. Full beverage service, micro brews, and wines. Voted by Tidewater locals as the best seafood restaurant over 40 years.

    Was seated the instant I walked to the hostess station, I had reservations but it was still so fast. Staff very nice and accomadating. I had the Pecan Salmon with shrimp over grits. Delicious. The portion size was very good. I ordered a cup of she crab soup. So filling because it was a big cup. More bowl than cup. Nice. I left stuffed but with leftovers.

    Meal and service were okay. The food was little pricey for the quality received. My meal temperature wise wasn’t perfect. Need to do a better job with meal runners.

    The service was outstanding, the food delicious (seafood quesadilla - must have seafood when you dine here!), the colonial ambiance adds to the experience as Berret's restaurant is located near the College of William & Mary and Market Square in Williamsburg, Virginia. If you love oysters, this is the place to dine. Heads up: make a reservation as this is a very popular restaurant for visitors and locals.

    Very enjoyable dinner at Berret’s on a Sunday night in beautiful Williamsburg. Quiet ambience provided a nice venue for family conversations. All of the food specials were pretty good and the hot buttered rum hit the spot on a very cold night.

    Berret’s was a good eating experience!! We had a reservation and were seated immediately. So unusual. Yummy entrees and great service (James). Super Christmas decorations! Fun experience. It was our first visit but won’t be our last. Thanks!
