    My wife and I ate here with friends for early New Year’s Eve dinner. Our server was a young man finishing his last year in college and he was very attentive and thorough at explaining the menu. We had the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese appetizer and it was delicious! Our friends had never tasted fried green tomatoes before and were impressed. Our meals included grouper, mahi, crab cakes, shrimp, and barramundi. All were excellent - except the crab cakes. The cakes were actually balls and fell apart when trying to cut them. Those that liked crab in our group said they were very tasty. This was our first visit to Berrets in several years and won’t be our last. The food was very good and the friendliness of every employee we interacted with was very welcoming. For a very busy evening they were wonderful.

    Everything was excellent, as usual. Many options to choose from . Always hard to decide what to order. It is all so good. We eat here at least twice every time we come to Williamsburg. Sometimes twice in the same day

    Waiter was very attentive. Food choices were outstanding. Our selections were delicious and priced appropriately. We have eaten there several times and will return.

    The parking is horrible, not the restaurants fault but, that sets the mood for dining. Once you arrive, you are pleasantly greeted and instructed on where to go. We were seated in a booth, but should have asked for a table with chairs which allow for more leg room and are not a confining as a small booth. The food was good. The creamy crab dip was just that, creamy, not lumpy with a hard crusty top like most crab dips are served. The pita chips that accompanied the dip were sturdy and didn't break when you scooped a portion of the dip. The brussel sprout appetizer was nice and tangy! The shrimp and salmon quesadilla was good, not mushy. Overall, it was a nice dining experience. We are now aware of the parking issue and can accommodate that on our next visit to the restaurant.
