    We’ve been going to Biffs for close to 15 years and it’s still an amazing place. One of our favorite people works there, Al and he’s been there as long as ever been going. He always makes sure we’re having a great time and it’s nice to catch up with him on life. The food of course is great and they always make us feel at home.

    We had a wonderful evening at Biff’s Bistro, made even cozier by its warm lighting and candlelit ambiance. The coat check was a thoughtful touch, and our server, Andrea, was amazing, helping us choose the perfect dishes. Highlights included the Chicken Liver Parfair with their crunchy house mustard, flavorful sweetbreads, Coq au Vin with rich red wine sauce, and their duck that was cooked to perfection! To top it all off, the restaurant gifted us a small jar of their house mustard, which was so good it reminded me of Kozlik’s Triple Crunch. Overall, it was an exceptional evening with great food, a cozy ambiance, and outstanding service.

    Excellent food! We ordered from prix fixed menu- French onion soup was the best we had ever tasted. We had the trout almandine and the flat iron steak both delicious. Dessert was crème brûlée and it came with a yummy shortbread cookie. We were lucky and had Al as our server. He is outstanding. Professional, attentive and very funny. We will be back again. Truly too notch. Also love the underground parking and it was free the night we came.

    We were seated a waited about 10 minutes before the floor manager served us. She was pleasant and professional and were impressed by her service. We had a bottled of wine, which she decanted, oysters and cocktails. We enjoyed all the oysters, our cocktails, and a glass of wine before our server returned to clear our dishes. We actually had to say to him we are ready to order apps and entrees, he seemed unimpressed, but did take our food order. (All the dishes were amazing!) We did not see our server again until the final bites of our entrees (no quality checks during apps, start of entrees, or to pour wine, etc, perhaps about 25 minutes; the food runners brought our meals out) He cleared my empty wine glass and did not ask if I wanted anything else. This was all made worse by the fact that we given ourselves 2.15 hours to enjoy our meal, to order dessert and coffees, etc, but had to rush out with our last bites of our entrees in our mouths to make our show.

    Food was good and overall value was high as prices were reasonable for DT Toronto. Service was average.
