BBQ & Lobstershack. We're a local institution, with an international following, this powerhouse of a restaurant is set over 2 huge floors in Covent Garden boasting a 9m wow factor bar on the ground floor & a more intimate speak-easy style shelter bar on the lower deck.

We proudly offer a large slice of easy going living, inspired by the Gulf Coast, with live bands 7 nights week, a friendly welcoming atmosphere, fresh cocktails, ice cold beers and generous portions of
good old home-style cooking offering Home-Smoked BBQ & Fresh East Coast Lobsters.

Fast forward to today and we continue to uphold those time-honoured traditions; social occasions of the bygone age, friends getting together over great fresh food, plentiful drinks and music - these never go out of fashion.

Available for hoedowns, hootenannies, hullabaloos & other private parties With 10,000 sq. ft. of space we have plenty of room for events of all sizes; we have a semi-private area that caters up to 45 giving you all the atmosphere of the main restaurant but your own space to play with. There is also the option to hire one floor or exclusive use of the restaurant for your event. We can also accommodate drinks reception parties on both upper & lower decks of the restaurant and will be happy to discuss your requirements. Not a bad meal but not great we've had better ribs in Bodeans the portions were not as big as I expected. We were down a portion of fries that came with a burger meal and were told we needed to re order so they would arrive late. Had to check the order with the waitress as things had been missed off. Really needed to something to clean our fingers with at the end of the meal some kind of wipe would have been nice. We didn't stay for pudding which kind of says it all.

We visited with a group of 7 friends and had an extremely underwhelming experience. When booking. I specifically requested standard seating due to a back problem, but the staff, particularly a disrespectful lady, insisted on seating us at high chairs with ridiculous excuses. The food was less than mediocre, with portions that were embarrassingly small. The steak was edible though. For a total bill of £400, we left hungry and feeling completely let down. The ambiance was also disappointing – it was so loud that we couldn’t even have a proper conversation. We ended up leaving and finding another place, which turned out to be much better. All 7 of us agreed that we wouldn’t return to this chain. Definitely not worth the money or the time.

Unfortunately the quality has gone down a lot. We paid £39 for a lobster that had no more meat on it than four jumbo shrimp. We had to ask the waitress if we had been given a small size by mistake. We left the restaurant hungry and felt as if we had been scammed. We have been here frequently over many past years, but won't go again. Lobsters dinners were once good here. No longer. Much poorer value than in the past. Chips are extra. You only get a small beer. Cost for two was £110.

We got the Monday night offer and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing. The corn bread was the best I've tasted in years. Highly recommend.
