BBQ & Lobstershack. We're a local institution, with an international following, this powerhouse of a restaurant is set over 2 huge floors in Covent Garden boasting a 9m wow factor bar on the ground floor & a more intimate speak-easy style shelter bar on the lower deck.

We proudly offer a large slice of easy going living, inspired by the Gulf Coast, with live bands 7 nights week, a friendly welcoming atmosphere, fresh cocktails, ice cold beers and generous portions of
good old home-style cooking offering Home-Smoked BBQ & Fresh East Coast Lobsters.

Fast forward to today and we continue to uphold those time-honoured traditions; social occasions of the bygone age, friends getting together over great fresh food, plentiful drinks and music - these never go out of fashion.

Available for hoedowns, hootenannies, hullabaloos & other private parties With 10,000 sq. ft. of space we have plenty of room for events of all sizes; we have a semi-private area that caters up to 45 giving you all the atmosphere of the main restaurant but your own space to play with. There is also the option to hire one floor or exclusive use of the restaurant for your event. We can also accommodate drinks reception parties on both upper & lower decks of the restaurant and will be happy to discuss your requirements. For a family Christmas meal with adult sons this was absolutely perfect. The boys kept on saying what a brilliant choice it was and all the food was generous and delicious. Really fun evening for all of us.

A group of 11, we ordered of the late lunch/pre theatre menu. The portion size of starters and mains were generous, the food was fresh and delicious and the slush cocktails were amazing. Was excellent value for money. Service was a little slow at the bar when we arrived but overall the service was good. Would recommend

Advertised firstly live music which they didn't have, wasn't that busy took quite a while for the food to come. Quality was not as good as the Chelsea branch for some reason. It was a special occasion and we were looking FWD to the live music.

Although having a booking, we were placed at a table in a narrow space with several people. There was a quite disturbing noise from a ventilation machine and there was an unpleasant smell. The popcorn shrimps were quite spicy (although I specifically asked and was reassured that they weren't). The Mac and cheese was badly made (full of oil) and our burgers were so tasteless and both were missing the salad. Additionally the burgers were served in such an oily plate, that was so unpleasant not only to our hands, but eyes too. Overall it was a bad experience and we are so frustrated because we have been to Canary wharf and Convent Garden many times, where the food quality and customer experience were worse time after time. We used to really like Big Easy, but we decided this was the last time we wasted 100 pounds (2 adults & 1 child).
