BBQ & Lobstershack. We're a local institution, with an international following, this powerhouse of a restaurant is set over 2 huge floors in Covent Garden boasting a 9m wow factor bar on the ground floor & a more intimate speak-easy style shelter bar on the lower deck.

We proudly offer a large slice of easy going living, inspired by the Gulf Coast, with live bands 7 nights week, a friendly welcoming atmosphere, fresh cocktails, ice cold beers and generous portions of
good old home-style cooking offering Home-Smoked BBQ & Fresh East Coast Lobsters.

Fast forward to today and we continue to uphold those time-honoured traditions; social occasions of the bygone age, friends getting together over great fresh food, plentiful drinks and music - these never go out of fashion.

Available for hoedowns, hootenannies, hullabaloos & other private parties With 10,000 sq. ft. of space we have plenty of room for events of all sizes; we have a semi-private area that caters up to 45 giving you all the atmosphere of the main restaurant but your own space to play with. There is also the option to hire one floor or exclusive use of the restaurant for your event. We can also accommodate drinks reception parties on both upper & lower decks of the restaurant and will be happy to discuss your requirements. Average experience - food was ok, not that hot, had to send fries back but didn’t bother with the rest - didn’t want to wait any longer. Overall not hugely impressed…. Shouldn’t be that hard to get ribs and fries right.

Where do you start … it was terrible, apart from the lady on the front desk who was really nice , the whole thing was awful Cold food and overcooked ( burnt chips ) Flat Lager 45 min wait for drinks order Could go on…. Wouldn’t go ever again

The worst restaurant I’ve ever had the displeasure to eat in. 3.5 on TripA is being very kind. Many better places to eat in London. Do your research.

My son enjoyed his burger, our caesar salads with steak were okay. Express lunch deal was not available despite it being a weekday & not a public holiday. Great vibe, attentive service. Not great value.

Was kept waiting and ignored at the main entrance for over 10 minutes waiting to be seated (even though we had booked an early slot in advance) whilst several members of management passed us by ? Went to order food and was told that none of the daily or lunchtime weekday deals were available - this wasn't a weekend or bank holiday and nobody mentioned this when given the menus, no signage in store or on the website to indicate these weren't available before booking ! The waiter who served us had to confirm this with the duty manager, so clearly wasn't briefed or trained effectively. They were however very undrestaning and did surve us with speed and attention throughout our visit. We ended up spending a lot more than planned having to choose more expensive options from the main menu. Had I not booked this as part of a Christmas surprise for my partner I would have walked straight out again. This was a real shame as we had eaten here on numerus occasions in the past but will definitely think twice before returning again !!!

The food was ok, not as good as Big Easy used to be... Steak and lobster were really good quality, though. Petra was very helpful, attentive, and friendly - BIG "thank" you to her We quickly understood that the place was understaffed overall. It was an ok family meal, but I dont think we will be back soon.

This place is nice enough. Drinks are fun, with a great selection of alcoholic slushies and hard shakes. The food is OK. Tasty enough but nothing special. I had surf and turf. It cost £47 for a small (but decent) half lobster and a really thin rib eye steak. It was cooked rare as requested but other than that it was underwhelming for the price. Lovely to have live music. Service is fast but you can tell staff are really rushed. They are not particularly friendly because they are overworked / simply don't have the time. Overall it was OK. But for £180 for 3 people (where we only had 1 drink each) next time I fancy a steak I'll be heading elsewhere for great quality meat and service.
