BBQ & Lobstershack. We're a local institution, with an international following, this powerhouse of a restaurant is set over 2 huge floors in Covent Garden boasting a 9m wow factor bar on the ground floor & a more intimate speak-easy style shelter bar on the lower deck.

We proudly offer a large slice of easy going living, inspired by the Gulf Coast, with live bands 7 nights week, a friendly welcoming atmosphere, fresh cocktails, ice cold beers and generous portions of
good old home-style cooking offering Home-Smoked BBQ & Fresh East Coast Lobsters.

Fast forward to today and we continue to uphold those time-honoured traditions; social occasions of the bygone age, friends getting together over great fresh food, plentiful drinks and music - these never go out of fashion.

Available for hoedowns, hootenannies, hullabaloos & other private parties With 10,000 sq. ft. of space we have plenty of room for events of all sizes; we have a semi-private area that caters up to 45 giving you all the atmosphere of the main restaurant but your own space to play with. There is also the option to hire one floor or exclusive use of the restaurant for your event. We can also accommodate drinks reception parties on both upper & lower decks of the restaurant and will be happy to discuss your requirements. Really disappointed this time. Long time customer but on this visit my lobster was practically empty and the prices just keep going up.

Atmosphere and music great. Food tasty, good portion but not cheap. Poor service after food was served. Nobody came to offer more drinks or anything else and once finished we were sat for over half an hour with no attention, no clearing of plates and not easy to get the bill. We had to ask twice for the bill and we asked to remove the service charge because there wasn't great service which was accepted with no issue.

Great food but awful service. Host unfriendly and we had to wait 45 min to be seated. Table dirty and sticky . Had to ask for drinks menu and waited 15 minutes. Food amazing and good value. At the end as we were leaving no single person waiter or host smiled or said thank you they were busy chatting and checking phones. Our date night was ruined. Definitely not coming again

Good morning. I took the misses for her Birthday. We had the bottomless boozy brunch. We arrived and BIG EASY didn't have the booking. The booking was on Open Table but they didn't have it there end! This was a little annoying. Not sure if it's a open table issue or BIG EASY!. So we have had to wait 10-15 mins before getting us in. Which in London on a Saturday afternoon was good. After that, brilliant. Food, Drinks Staff was brilliant really good. Just a shame it had the part at the beginning.

We ordered a bottle of Italian red wine and a bottle of Spanish wine was presented Unfortunately the food order took an hour and a half ! Then the starters came up together with the main course !! We sent back the mains as they were going to get cold After finishing our starters the mains took another half an hour but one person was left waiting with no food whilst the other 5 had theirs It took 15 minutes for the 6th order of chicken tenders and Caesar salad to arrive A complete shambles !!! We won’t be returning any time soon

Booked a table of 9. After being moved a few times due to bad planning by front of house, we finally sat down 40mins after our booking began. Took a further 30 mins before the 1st drink was delivered to our table. The place is great but the lack of organisation was a real let-down. We paid the service charge of £37 as it was unfair on the one waiter.

Just some feedback following our recent experience - Big Easy promises a culinary journey that melds the vibrant flavors of American cuisine with a seafood lover's paradise. I opted for the Surf and Turf, a classic combination of sirloin steak and lobster—a dish that tantalized my taste buds with its promise of indulgence. The sirloin steak was the undeniable star of the meal; perfectly cooked to medium-rare, it boasted a rich flavor that left me thoroughly satisfied. Each bite was tender and juicy, showcasing the kitchen’s skill in preparing a high-quality cut of meat. However, the lobster left much to be desired. For a dish priced at £50, I anticipated a more generous serving, but what I received was a disappointingly minimal portion. The lobster, while flavorful, was scant—so much so that I found myself still feeling hungry after the meal. It felt as if the dish was more about the concept than the actual substance, and I couldn't help but feel a bit shortchanged. The atmosphere at Big Easy is lively and vibrant, with a palpable energy that enhances the dining experience. However, my companions and I felt somewhat crammed into one end of the restaurant, seated closely to other diners. This proximity led to overhearing conversations revolving around the shared experience of our meal, with several tables lamenting the same issue of lobster quantity—a clear indication that this was not an isolated concern. In conclusion, while my visit to Big Easy Covent Garden had its highlights, particularly with the expertly cooked steak, the overall experience was marred by a sense of excess cost without commensurate satisfaction. The ambiance is certainly inviting, but with such a hefty price tag, one would hope for a more substantial plate. If you’re looking for a great steak, you won't be disappointed; just be prepared to supplement your meal elsewhere if you’re hoping for a fully satisfying Surf and Turf experience.

Warm welcome, comfortable well lit table, good choice of food and drinks, we really enjoyed what we had. Bit of a trek to the toilets.

The waitress was not very attentive. She slurred her words and never smiled. When the food came out, it was cold. The ribs weren’t cooked inside they were red raw and generally the food wasn’t very tasty as it has been on previous occasions.
