BBQ & Lobstershack. We're a local institution, with an international following, this powerhouse of a restaurant is set over 2 huge floors in Covent Garden boasting a 9m wow factor bar on the ground floor & a more intimate speak-easy style shelter bar on the lower deck.

We proudly offer a large slice of easy going living, inspired by the Gulf Coast, with live bands 7 nights week, a friendly welcoming atmosphere, fresh cocktails, ice cold beers and generous portions of
good old home-style cooking offering Home-Smoked BBQ & Fresh East Coast Lobsters.

Fast forward to today and we continue to uphold those time-honoured traditions; social occasions of the bygone age, friends getting together over great fresh food, plentiful drinks and music - these never go out of fashion.

There is also the option to hire one floor or exclusive use of the restaurant for your event. We can also accommodate drinks reception parties on both upper & lower decks of the restaurant and will be happy to discuss your requirements.     Big easy used to be great but now it’s expensive and awful food - the nachos are cold with cheese sauce - why??? For £12!!! The main dish was £30 per person so £60 for two of us and it was terrible! There were only a few tables taken - people have abandoned this place so they’ve put their prices up and used cheap ingredients to reduce their costs to stay afloat. The staff don’t care but still wanted their 12.5% service charge - they did not even come to see how everything was. Absolutely terrible - keep away…

    Brilliant food, and atmosphere. Service was slow, and they tried to kick us off our table during our pre-booked slot which was a little disappointing. But overall good value for money

    The food was very good. The beer was cold. But the restaurant closed too early for a Saturday night.

    The food was alright. We had a brisket sandwich and chips and that was pretty good. The Caesar salad itself was a decent portion but the chicken was very dry and not great. Service was a bit slow but they were all nice. The bathrooms were in terrible condition.

    A moment of pleasure ! Le cadre, l’accueil et la qualité des plats nous ont permis de passer un très agréable moment. Nous y retournerons sans doute lors d’un prochain passage à Londres. A conseiller.

    We had a good evening meeting here with some friends. The service was good. Friendly and efficient but we never felt rushed. The food was good and arrived in good time. I had the beef brisket and really enjoyed it.

    Here are the problems I faced: 1. I had informed the host that my guest suffered from some disability issues requiring a bigger seating/table. He sat us down at a very constrictive table, even though bigger ones were available. He was very inflexible in trying to accommodate my request. My guest had a very tough time sitting. 2. I ordered Pork ribs and lobster and my guest pork ribs and jumbo shrimp. The shrimp and lobster were served cold. The ribs had been rendered so dry that adding extra barbecue sauce did not redeem its toughness texture. I wonder if it was nearly burnt to hide its lack of freshness. Our Voodoo wings were very soggy--nowhere near the menu description of "crispy". The kitchen's disappointing food execution made us decide against dessert, to leave as soon as we concluded the savouries. 3. The people who took our drinks order did not know how the cocktails were made and also did not know how the difference between St Louis Pork Rib and Baby Back Pork ribs. 4. If we thought the food was strange, the location of the toilets sand their lack of cleanliness, surprised us even more. On enquiring, I learnt that the Manager was not available to talk to me. The only redeeming feature/thing during our dinner was that the waiters, who brought the food, served us with a smile. Thank you. S Ghose

    Absolutely fantastic food, great value for money and the staff were amazing- huge compliments to the chef and their crew as well as all the front of house as well. We loved it!

    We had a great time there, the food is always delicious, and we were very well looked after, especially by Paulo who was very attentive and friendly with us. We can't wait to come back. Thank you so much!
