Bis on Main is Bellevue’s premier fine dining restaurant, famous for great seafood, big steaks and the signature Crispy Garlic Chicken. One of the best places in Bellevue for lunch & dinner.                                                     Bis, at least in our experience, is always going full speed with a full house of customers, giving us a throbbing ambience as well as good food. In spite of large, probably corporate, groups being attended to at the same time, service is attentive and food comes out of the kitchen in a well-paced manner. With white tablecloths, it feels reasonably elegant as well as loud and fun. With very good food and fellow diners having a good time, it's a place we always return to when in Bellevue.

                                                    I had an exquisite halibut with a creamy mushroom sauce. That was a new preparation for halibut, for me, but it really worked. Chau never rushed us and we enjoyed a leisurely date lunch. I would say this was quite the restorative experience tucked in between the election and the busyness of the holiday. It was very satisfying and appreciated. We spent about $350 for two people and it was worth every penny!

                                                    The food was great! We had escargots and crab cakes as starters (both excellent). Our server was phenomenal! Not too much, just the “right” amount of attention! Tried the warm beet salad, miso cod (a lot of sauce…maybe consider a lighter hand?) and the short ribs (with grits)and prawns (all great). The dessert of crème brûlée was fantastic (simple, perfect). Thought it was priced right for a nice meal with wonderful staff! Wine list is great, too!
