Bistro du Midi's cuisine features French Cuisine inspired by Coastal New England influences. Our wine list represents the true soul of a bistro wine list. In a classic French bistro, wine is very much a part of every meal. As such, we offer a variety of experiences and wines at a tremendous value in a range of prices. Our elegant yet relaxed environment overlooks Boston's beautiful Public Garden with a spectacular view. A street level Bistro features floor-to-ceiling windows, and in the spring and summer our patio provides some of the most optimal al fresco dining in the city.

Everything was excellent….from the appetizers to the dessert. The bouillabaisse was on the next level…full of fresh fish with an amazing broth.

This is our favorite restaurant in Boston. Reminds us of the seven years we spent living in Southern France. Appetizers and entrées are always superbly, prepared and presented and topped off by excellent service from the staff of the restaurant.

The food was outstanding and the service, though rushed in the beginning, was also great. The room was beautiful, the tables comfortable, and my duck cooked properly. The upstairs room needs some acoustic panels to soak up some of the hubbub of the room. Given the spacious tables, I found it difficult to hear the people across the table from me or the server. All that said, I'd gladly return for another meal.

Delightful experience at the Bistro du Midi! Lovely setting across from the public garden, incredible food, excellent wait service - they even took note of one of our party for whom we were celebrating her recent PhD accomplishment. We couldn’t have had a better time.

We had a lovely dinner experience at Bistro du Midi. The food and drink were delicious. We especially enjoyed a special scallop appetizer, a clean but intriguing arugula and endive salad, plus bouillabaisse and duck entrees that were wonderful comfort foods on a rainy fall evening The waiter’s recommendations were spot on and he timed the meal beautifully so we finished in time for a show without ever feeling rushed.

Lunch today was a positive experience from being greeted at the welcoming station through the meal. Alberto Petricca is a great host and Allejandro as always is friendly and very reliable and attentive. The food was fine and the ambiance on the second floor is above the average -very lovely, quiet but not without vitality. It was a business lunch and by placing us in a corner table, they were sensitive for the need for some privacy. The price was appropriate. I'll go back for either business or pleasure.

We picked Bistro du Midi on a recommendation from French friend for a place for an anniversary dinner, and we were thrilled. It was the nicest evening out in a long time. Food, service, atmosphere all impeccable. I was suspicious at first with some of the creative combinations, but they put a smile on this curmudgeon’s face: foie gras and banana—who knew? Every dish was a delicious adventure and the sommelier guided us expertly to a reasonable bottle much tastier than our usual. Quite a treat!
