Authentic French restaurants are few and far between these days but Bistro Pierre delivers in true Gallic style. You’ll find this vibrant, inner-city eaterie in the heart of Liverpool’s Cavern Quarter near the world famous Mathew Street, in an old warehouse building which with its wooden floors and exposed brickwork has readily transformed itself into a rustic French bistro. Service is relaxed, warm and friendly.

Lovely little bistro , great value tonight, with a bottle of wine each. Steak cooked to perfection, and the cream brûlée is a delight. Thank you.

I’ve been going to BistroPierre for many years. I live in South London but was born in Wallasey and still have nieces living here. The staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is welcoming. The food was much enjoyed (The Friday Fizz night is a bargain) and I,gave it 4 stars instead if 5 as I thought the pasta with steak and mushrooms was a bit bland. Definitely, I’m coming back

We’ve been coming to the Bistro since it was first called Pierre Victoire….. it’s always had a great atmosphere and continues to do so. Food on this occasion was not great I’m afraid. We both had steak and it was tough. Didn’t complain, I always feel that if a steak can’t be done right first time, then there’s no point asking for another. The rest of the food and the house white wine was very good.

Friendly welcome from staff when we arrived which continued till we left to go to the theatre . Attentive but not over bearing - excellently prepared food served as we requested but no being rushed as the restauraunt got busier. Really enjoyed our early evening meal the only thing to make more clearly when looking at the best places to go is the service charge.

Decor is nice, menu is an english perspective of french cuisine from the 1980s (prawn cocktail, crepe suzette etc, in 30 years I have not seen these on the menu in a restaurant in france). Food was ok, cocktails were nice Service was excellent, they couldnt do enough to make sure the food was right for us. £112 for two people, 4 cocktails and two meals. The restaurant is above a really busy, REALLY loud club/bar/disco so don't go if you are expecting a quiet, cosy meal.

Lovely food as always. Staff attentive but not intrusive, pleasant and friendly. I love this restaurant and always enjoy my visits. Highly recommend.

We guess there was some nice, mostly French music being played in the restaurant. It's a pity the restaurant is next to a club that plays extremely loud music, so the noise from next door was rather "present". Apart from that, very good evening in Bistro Pierre.
