Black&Blue is a contemporary American Steakhouse with Las Vegas flair, and a 21 and up dining experience. B&B was recently named San Diego’s “Most Romantic Steakhouse” by the San Diego Union Tribune, and most recently awarded as the Best Steak House Best Seafood by San Diego A-list! At B&B we offer the choicest meats, freshest seafood and most dazzling desserts to delight the mind and body that will transport our guests into a world of indulgence and taste. Unwind with conversation and creative cocktails in our Black&Blue Lounge. Then move into our main room where Chef Nicholas Burgess will impress you with his inventive dishes and innovative takes on classic favorites. The Manager, Chris Scala, will ensure you receive the ultimate in guest service in an atmosphere that’s friendly and fun.     What a huge surprise. Who knew casino would have such an amazing restaurant. Mel, our server was just outstanding. We came back the next week because he was so good and we asked for him. The three course meal is such a great value. I have a lovely fillet and the next time I upgraded to a ribeye. The sweet potato mash was one of the best I’ve had. I also had the most amazing soufflé that I can’t stop thinking about. Again truly special place and I highly recommend it. Definitely worth the drive.

    The food was excellent! Too many lag times. Need to check back more often. Service was very slow. It’s a busy & noisy atmosphere.

    Our experience was outstanding as always. We are regulars here and come about a couple times a month. The staff always greets us by name and the food is exceptional. They offer complimentary Evian water, amuse and a variety of specialty breads and flavored butters. Be sure to try their combos and enjoy their dessert souffle.

    I can't begin to express how please I was with the experience. Our server Mel was fantastic. they served my iced tea with ice tea cubes so when the cubes melted, it would not be watered down.; There were so many special touches. I ordered a steak which came out under cooked but they promptly fixed it. I cant say enough good things. I will definitely be back. it is worth the drive!

    My wife and I went here to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary and words can’t describe this amazing experience, but I’ll try. The moment we arrive we were welcomed with a very friendly greeting from Chris (later found out he was the restaurant manager). We told him it was our first time here and that we were celebrating our anniversary. He congratulated us, and told us that this spot was a hidden gem. Once seated, our server Eli introduced herself, told us about the daily specials, and congratulated us again on our anniversary. Eli was so professional, personable, and so caring during our entire meal! Once we placed our dinner order(we both had the surf and turf which was incredible!), another gentleman (I forget his name) came by with bread service. He was extremely friendly, gave us his recommendations and came by multiple times throughout the meal to offer more bread. (Including bagging a couple of fresh bread after our meal to go) After dinner was over, Eli offered us the desert menu and recommended the cheesecake dish. We had coffee and cheesecake and both were an incredible experience! Once we were finished we were given a “happy anniversary” card which was signed by the entire staff, filled with congratulations and warm wishes which brought tears to my wife’s eyes). This whole experience was so special, and nothing like we had encountered before! What we thought was just going to be a nice steak dinner celebrating our anniversary was so much more! We will always remember this moment and will absolutely be back! Overall the food was immaculate, service was collectively incredible, and thank you all for making our anniversary exceed our expectations!!

    Went for our anniversary & they made it truly special. The service was top notch and the food was as good as any we have ever had (and we go to Vegas twice a year).

    We always have an amazing experience at Black and Blue. The staff is so professional and friendly, and the food is exceptional. I used to eat their steak dinners only because the meat was so well prepared, but lately have been trying their nightly specials and they were absolutely delicious. The scallops I had last night were so good, and we are so happy that B & B brought back their original Baked Alaska for desert and also their cranberry walnut bread. Black and Blue is at the top of our list for favorite restaurants in North County SD.
