   My only complaint is the server's tardiness in arriving late for work and then not hurrying to his post once he got there. We did a lot of waiting. The food was excellent.

   My husband and I love Black Angus. This visit was because of their 61st anniversary. We had the steak,lobster and fried shrimp for $19.64.It was amazing. The service staff is always so friendly and helpful. Always a great place to get dinner and cocktails.

   One of my favorite restaurants for consistently good food. Steaks are always great. Join the Prime Club and get in on lots of great special promotions at good prices. You also earn rewards points to use. Ashley, the General Manager is always trying new and different offerings. I recommend you check them out!

   We realize that when we go early, around 3:30, the bartender is waiting on tables until the servers arrive and the bar gets busy. The bartender can’t do both. It slows down the service.

   We've gone to this restaurant for over 43 years. And in that time neither the quality or service has deteriorated. Great food, served in a reasonable amount of time, and our server was outstanding. Definitely will go back again.

   We celebrated my husbands birthday with dinner at Black Angus. Our server was very attentive and wished him a happy birthday, made some good wine recommendations and managed our order at the pace we preferred. The food was perfect. We were happy to see the artichoke appetizer back on the menu and enjoyed that! My husband had prime rib and I had the rib eye. Dinner topped off with the cowboy cookie and ice cream - perfect! One thing we observed last night is that Black Angus in El Cajon must be a good and friendly place to work. The wait staff turnover must be low as we see many servers who have taken care of us for years and they acknowledge us too. We like that!
