    I had the New York strip, and my wife had a prime rib. Both were pretty good for the cost. The sides and appetizer were mid.

    It was Valentine’s Day. Waitress came quickly which was great. She was very nice and helpful. My rating is not outstanding because our appetizer was hot in some spots and really cold in others. This is not the waitress’s fault. Between our salad and main meal we must have waited 30-40 minutes before our dinner arrived. No explanation as to why it took so long. By the time dinner came we were out of the notion to eat it. We have never experienced this at Black Angus before. On a side note, the people next to us had the same experience with their broccoli - hot in some spots cold in others.

    One filet mignon was undercooked and one was overcooked, it took them an hour between ordering and food ready, our waiter Nate promised to take care of us at bill, he then acted like he didn't know what we were talking about, dessert took 20 minutes.

    Valentine dinner: - Minimal wait for table in bar area - Best service EVER! - Food very good (Filet was FINE) Only complaint is we have to drive to Federal Way to go to Black Angus - nothing closer to Renton...

    We enjoy dining at Black Angus for special occasions. We’ve dined here for years and are always happy with the food. Fantastic customer service, we felt “pampered” and well cared for. Definitely recommend for any occasion or just a nice meal out.

    The only drawback were both of our steaks (filet) were undercooked. 1 ordered medium, 1 ordered medium well and both came out medium rare. Our waitress was fantastic and sent them back to the kitchen toot sweet and they came back as ordered. Made me suspect a newer cook in the kitchen. Doesn’t happen often thankfully. Black Angus is my current go-to.

    Nathan was excellent - he allowed us to finish cocktails before beginning our meal - we were with you for 2 hours & 45 minutes taking our time and savoring the evening. The only caveat being the mashed potatoes were not as wonderful as I had hoped, the steak was perfect and dessert - ohmigoodness, delightful.

    Service has gone down hill I come here on a regular basis with over 30-40 reservations here at this location alone. They have definitely changed a lot of things.
