After a meticulous renovation of the Fells Point General Store in 1997, The Black Olive has become a hallmark of quaint elegance on the cobblestone section of Bond Street in Fells Point, Baltimore's waterfront jewel. Although over twenty-five years old, its spirit is rooted in a rich, multi-generational legacy. As a Greek fish tavern in historic Fells Point, we specialize in Mediterranean seafood and traditional Greek dishes, complemented by house-made breads and desserts.     The evening was wonderful and the food was fantastic! It’s small so it was loud due to one lady that would not stop talking. We know what her kid prefers and how she felt at the UN conference. Other than that… it’s a must to visit this place. Excellent!

    Just as good as we remember if not better. Fantastic experience. We had our wedding lunch there 15 years ago before we eloped. It was amazing to be back with our daughter and friends

    Beautiful restaurant. Ambience is warm, welcoming and elegant with a family-owned vibe. Several seating regions, easily accommodated our large group but would also be lovely for date night. The food was incredible, and service superior. Highly recommend!

    We LOVE Black Olive and we came for the special Valentines fixed price dinner. The food was great as always. Loved the extra Valentine's touches.

    Thank you for your feedback and for dining with us on Valentine’s Day. As a small family business of 27 years, we take great pride in offering a special experience while maintaining fairness in pricing. This year, the cost of premium ingredients like scallops and lobster tails has risen drastically, as has our commitment to paying our staff a living wage. Our Valentine’s Day pricing, which included fresh flowers, a champagne toast, and other extras, was disclosed upfront and remained competitive, if not lower, than many others. We are grateful for your love of The Black Olive and hope you’ll join us again to experience the care and dedication we put into every meal.
