After a meticulous renovation of the Fells Point General Store in 1997, The Black Olive has become a hallmark of quaint elegance on the cobblestone section of Bond Street in Fells Point, Baltimore's waterfront jewel. Although over twenty-five years old, its spirit is rooted in a rich, multi-generational legacy. As a Greek fish tavern in historic Fells Point, we specialize in Mediterranean seafood and traditional Greek dishes, complemented by house-made breads and desserts.     My wife and I enjoyed an amazing dinner at the black olive. It was our first time there, and definitely won't be the last. My wife has celiac disease and is very sensitive to gluten and all the dishes we ordered we're truly gluten-free.

    We went for the New Year's Eve prefix menu and all of the courses were awesome. The wait staff was attenentive. There were 2-6 options for each course. We will definitely be back again.

    We had a really nice time. The ambiance is great. The servers were so very attentive. I’m pretty sure I ordered the Rockfish and got the Halibut, so that makes it hard to give them 5 stars. Also, the fish was a little tougher than I expected. But all the food generally tasted great and seemed well prepared. The apps were amazing.
