    Fantastic as always. Every dish was a delight. Terrific service and the freshest seafood. At the top of our list of favorite restaurants. We love BlackSalt!

    This is our favorite place in the DMV to get a high quality seafood meal. BY FAR! Offerings are extensive and preparations range from simple classics to highly creative combinations. We love their fried clams, oysters Rockefeller, and clam chowder. Their fish specials are superb. Last night I selected a specific fish from the market for them to prepare. Room in front usually high energy while room in back better for a quiet meal. Why this restaurant is not in Washingtonian Top 100 is bewildering.

    The service and food was good. We had a nice birthday dinner. Received a chocolate Grenache which was a nice touch from the restaurant.

    While service was beyond excellent they put is in the back room which was the kiss of death. They put a private party of 12 next to us who were loud and obnoxious!! It was horrible and no one from management apologized or confronted the noise!!! However the waiter did his best!!!

    The seafood was, without a doubt, the freshest we've ever had. We kicked off our meal with the seafood tower, a spectacular display that was as stunning as it was delicious. The crab cakes were bursting with flavor, the clams and raw oysters were hands down the best we've ever encountered. Not only were the staff incredibly attentive, but they also took the time to explain the menu in great detail, helping us navigate the options and make informed choices. Their passion for the food was evident, and it enhanced our overall experience significantly. In conclusion, if you're a seafood lover, this restaurant is a must-visit. From the exceptional quality of the seafood to the outstanding service, every element came together to create an amazing dining experience that we will not soon forget. We can't wait to return!

    The best and freshest seafood in the DC area. Service was a bit iffy. Waiter seemed impatient. Wanted to move us along. Not very friendly. Unusual for Black Salt though.
