Here you’ll find seasonally driven and locally sourced food and spirits, great live music, and the area’s friendliest staff. With just one visit to Blackwall Hitch, you'll be hooked on the flavor!
Blackwall Hitch promotes a comfortable, family friendly and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. We ask guests to support this atmosphere by not wearing clothing with offensive graphics or language, midriff-baring outfits, exposed undergarments, cut-off shorts or tank tops. Blackwall Hitch is a Drug Free Zone, and we prohibit all illicit substances on our property at all times.

    The service was very good and our server was very attentive. I enjoyed the music and the vibe. The food was very good. I've eaten here before and I've always enjoyed myself.

    Dressed oysters are fabulous, but a little pricey. They had (4) Christmas parties going that night and a live band, so it was a little loud, but no less enjoyable.

    There was a live band playing music it was nice just a tab bit loud . The server wasn’t attentive at all and didn’t act like she’s wanted to work hard or at all. Several tables were waiting for her to return to just order drinks .

    My experience at Blackwall Hitch was spectacular. Our waitress Jayla was very nice, she checked us on several times throughout our dinner. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. I’ve been to Blackwall Hitch on several occasions and especially at this particular location. I have gone to another one in Annapolis but the one in Alexandria is the best. The ambiance was great, the food was superb from the starters to the main entree. I recommend my friends to this location as well. No matter what dish you choose from the menu you can’t go wrong with your selections. The truffle garlic fries are the bomb and I get them every time I visit. Keep up the good work and from all your workers we interacted with they are very professional. Thank you again for a lovely dining experience. My husband and I will be back again.

    The entire dining experience was excellent. Our reservation was accurate, and we were able to get seated early. The host was courteous and very professional. The food was superb.
