Blue Agave Club, in Pleasanton, California, offers a vast assortment of outstanding Mexican food. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a high-end dining establishment and Blue Agave Club fits that bill. The restaurant is known for our award-winning 100% blue agave tequila margaritas, as well as our secret homemade sweet and sour mix.

Some of the most popular entrees at Blue Agave Club are sauteed shrimp, grilled salmon and New York Steak, served with a variety of sauces...from mild to spicy. We are known for our house made sauces including mole poblano, diabla, chile guajillo, and enjococado, which is our 100-year-old family recipe. Many dishes are vegetarian or can be made that way, including fire roasted chile rellenos, enchiladas and our Blue Agave Bowl.

    Always fantastic. We love the chicken enchiladas with green sauce. When it’s warm, the outside patio is amazing. I always order the Lladro margarita. We lived in Pleasanton for 3 years and then moved 60 miles away to purchase our home where there are very few excellent full service Mexican restaurants.

    I really wanted to like this place. I love a classic Mexican-American sit down restaurant. The service was fast and friendly. Ordered chicken mole enchiladas. The mole tasted ok but the chicken was dry and tough. The beans were puréed. The salsa's were tasty but the chips tasted like cheap bagged chips. For the price point, it was disappointing. The worst part was when the plates were placed on the table, they were so hot, I burned my fingers. I know plates can be hot sometimes but these were outrageously hot and no warning was given. A day later and my fingers are still tender.

    Service and food both excellent, tortilla soup trinity enchiladas side of guacamole and black beans chased by La Larona margaritas. Date night was a success.

    We have always enjoyed our time on the patio at Blue Agave. The food is delicious but the service is absolutely fantastic. You can’t beat the beautiful courtyard experience and even in December with the heat lamps blazing we were very comfortable without a jacket.

    We really enjoyed the service and one particular dish, sabana de pollo! It had chorizo, thin cut chalen breast, a bed of black beans with cheese and very unique French fries. I would order it again and split it!

    The serving staff was exceptional tonight! I am so happy they have fish ceviche! Most places only have shrimp!
