We are open for takeout and on-site dining Wednesday through Saturday.
With seasonally inspired menus featuring local produce, hormone/antibiotic-free meats and sustainable fish and seafood, the Blue Bottle Café will delight even the most discerning diners. Chef-Owner Aaron Philipson is known for his bold flavors, pristine sauces, and thoughtful combinations of delectable ingredients. Gnocchi and Seafood are definitely fan favorites! Comprised of three intimate dining rooms, the restaurant is perfect for casual get-togethers, business lunches and dinners and other private events. Book weekends early for preferred seating times!

Blue Bottle is the very best restaurant for so many reasons, the food if EXCELLENT, the staff is second to none and the atmosphere is perfect for a nice relaxing night out!!!! Absolutely everything is spot on, best restaurant in NJ by far! It’s a hidden gem.

Have wanted to come for some time Everything was absolutely fabulous! Gnocchi, blue bottle salad , the scallops and the steak were all so good! The dessert of Cream Puffs and ice cream was amazing :) And is a BYOB All great reasons to be sure to enjoy the delicious food and ambiance:)

Thank you so much for the positive rating! We're not sure where you heard December, with publishable certainty, but the building has been for sale for some time. We will update you as soon as our landlords provide us with information regarding the potential sale, but we do not have any timeline established with them for closing the restaurant. We have wanted to try this place for a long time and are so glad we did. The food was amazing and our server, Elaine, was the best! We shared a gnocchi appetizer, which was surprisingly light, and had the scallops for dinner. The combination of flavors in the dish was perfect. Other dishes we saw coming out looked delicious too. Desserts was profiteroles, and the salted caramel ice cream was a delicious twist. BYOB also makes The Blue Bottle an attractive option for a special occasion or just a really great dinner. Reservations are a must as it is small, but bigger inside than you would think. We will definitely be back!

Delicious duck once again, but a change for autumn is a really rich, delicious mushroom soup. All in all, another great dining experience.

We went for my wife’s birthday. The food was outstanding and the service phenomenal. We were given a corner booth, likely because I highlighted the occasion on the rsvp. This was apparent when her dessert had a candle. We had the shrimp, gnocchi and salad for starters, the latter was split for us and given as a second course. We had the streak and chicken, respectively, both cooked to perfection. We finished with profiteroles and strudel. Every dish was excellent.
