We are open for takeout and on-site dining Wednesday through Saturday.
With seasonally inspired menus featuring local produce, hormone/antibiotic-free meats and sustainable fish and seafood, the Blue Bottle Café will delight even the most discerning diners. Chef-Owner Aaron Philipson is known for his bold flavors, pristine sauces, and thoughtful combinations of delectable ingredients. Gnocchi and Seafood are definitely fan favorites! Comprised of three intimate dining rooms, the restaurant is perfect for casual get-togethers, business lunches and dinners and other private events. Book weekends early for preferred seating times!

One of the best restaurants in Central NJ. An outstanding chef with innovative interpretations served by an extremely personal staff in a very unassuming environment. We have been dining here for many years and never fail to be surprised by the menu creations . We drive 25 miles to dine here but the distance never stops us. A Hopewell, NJ gem.

We shared Homemade Potato Gnocchi, Blue Bottle Salad, and Roasted Brussels Sprouts appetizers family-style, and they were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Filet Mignon and Grigstown Chicken Entrees. First time here and we’ll be back.

Great food and great service. Came for my son’s birthday. Possible ly the best mushroom soup I have ever tasted. Cannot afford to eat here regularly though. Dinner for four with no alcohol was $295 with apps, entrees, and dessert.

Blue Bottle is the very best restaurant for so many reasons, the food if EXCELLENT, the staff is second to none and the atmosphere is perfect for a nice relaxing night out!!!! Absolutely everything is spot on, best restaurant in NJ by far! It’s a hidden gem.

New leg of venison dinner is one of their best preparations of venison that I have experienced here over the many years. Paired wonderfully with the wild mushroom soup (no way similar to more docile mushroom soups by other restaurants). All this paired wonderfully with a modest claret. Hope to repeat this at a future visit.

Have wanted to come for some time Everything was absolutely fabulous! Gnocchi, blue bottle salad , the scallops and the steak were all so good! The dessert of Cream Puffs and ice cream was amazing :) And is a BYOB All great reasons to be sure to enjoy the delicious food and ambiance:)
